~ Equilibrium States for the Random ß-Transformation through g-Measures ~
Karma Dajani (Universiteit Utrecht) gave a talk on her 2021 research paper written in collaboration with Kieran Power. Karma is known to many undergraduates through her 2002 book Ergodic Theory of Numbers (co-authored with her husband Cor Kraaikamp). In this she introduced the ß-Transformation. In the years since, she has continued to explored this transformation, being the discoverer of many of its fascinating properties. Tenacious by nature, her latest research on this transformation was the subject of her presentation.
