~ Workshop and Exhibition ~
The University of Bristol was the venue for the third meeting of The Grimm Network. This is the flag under which a series of workshops is organised and to which any mathematician with an interest in aperiodicity is welcome. Previous meetings have taken place at The Open University and The University of Derby. The School of Mathematics in Bristol is atop a steep hill. Walking up from the city centre resembled the long and arduous ascent to a sacred temple (if you've not been to China, think Kung Fu Panda). I mused that the spiritual temple I climbed towards housed mathematical enlightenment.
