5th Postulate (2010)

This ArtGraph is one of my favourites.
I spent a lot of time getting the right amount of wave in the lines, the right thickness,
the right texture, getting them to seemingly radiate,
and agonising endlessly over the colours.
Euclid's 5th postulate is to do with parallel lines.
Are the lines in this image parallel ?
Perhaps the perspective is deceptive, and viewing them through a heat haze not helpful...
