Sun Day (2012)

As with most artists, inspiration for my images comes from all sorts of places.
One of my favourite films is Danny Boyle's sci-fi classic from 2008, Sunshine.
This image is intended to capture the exhileration of simply staring
at the sun through the spaceship's observation window.
It invokes a happy feel, as on board the ship before everything started to go wrong.
